Description
This rest area is located on the Lasseter Highway east of Curtin Springs and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. It offers scenic vies of Mt Connor and a large salt lake.
Both Mt Conner and the salt lakes are located on the private property of Curtin Springs Station.
By all means enjoy the views but do not trespass onto private property.
You are not permitted to go past the viewing area on the top of the sand-dune.
Please respect private property areas.
Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. You can stop at a rest area to rest and manage fatigue however they are not intended as camping sites.
Facilities include: Non-flush toilets, picnic tables, shelter, bbq and tank water.

Great views! Recommend walking across the road to get views from the salt lake. Clean toilet facilities
