Not much good to say. Rocky road 4x4 best bet but you'd get a 2wd there if absolutely necessary. Lake looks great but the picnic reserve is overgrown, neglected, and access to water is difficult (if not impossible). Place well past it's better days.

Peaceful & scenic spot, only two camping sites as designated. Also separate day use with covered tables, bbq. Road in quite rocky & steep last 1km, suggest 4WD rigs only. Flushing toilets with hand basins & paper, non-potable water, limited shade. Fishing, NO SWIMMING as is town water supply, also saltwater croc sighted there 4 years ago. Area has been badly neglected, head high grass, overgrown.

It doesnt appear well maintained, just looks like slashing of grass. Road in has some loose stones, but ok for a vehicle and van with clearance.
