Nice dog beach and good, clean facilities. Not ideal for big rigs as the bays are all small and no turn around area. Good picnic area with showers, taps, free BBQs, and grassy shaded areas. Not ideal for sunset BBQ, no view of beach from grass area and tables all in the dark under trees. A few locals hanging around sleeping under the tree, but they seem to keep to themselves. Not sure if you could get away with staying here overnight, as apparently the rangers do patrol these areas. But that said, we arrived at 7am and there was only one car park left as everyone had come early to walk their dogs. So you'll probably be OK.

One of Darwin's secret places. Beautiful & the bonus is that the cafe at the surf club is fab too.
