Well we stayed there last night and were EXTREMELY disappointed. $34 for a dust bowl unpowered site. Toilets could definitely use attention the guy in the bar not helpful at all. We have stayed at other sites which at $15 was underpriced. Don't stay here if heading north a bit further on stay at road stop free and cleaner. As for cost of diesel let's not get me started.

Stayed 19th July 22. Reviews made it sound pretty bad but we found it great. Couldn't get a powered site but better unpowered and we set up right next to the lagoon. Was quiet and hardly heard any road noise during the night. Lovely very big pool. Was freezing but kids had a quick dip. Amenities where in good clean condition and the BEST shower we have had in 2 weeks. Great full shower heads and amazing pressure. We sat at the quirky pub and had a few drinks and watched some news. Short staffed but were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat or get fuel. At $17 per adult and $10 for kids it unpowered was expensive but there was a pool and pub and good amenities and in the middle of nowhere so we thought it was ok. A good spot for a nights stay. Powered sites are close to each other.

Arrived at the CP as we booked online. Just needed a place to stay for the night wasn't looking for anything fancy. Enjoyed the afternoon birdwatching and had a great time at the evening's live entertainment. They are doing a great job. Well done to all the staff involved.
