Description
Situated in the shadows of Kings Canyon and offering uninterrupted views, guests camping or pulling in their caravan for a few nights truly have some of the best seats in the house. Powered sites for caravans and motor homes and the introduction of sites with en-suites sees this part of the camp ground busy all year round. On the grassy area of the site, up to 100 campers can pitch their tents under the stunning southern sky and in the shade of the surrounding native bush land.
The resorts bars and restaurants, convenience stores and petrol station are available to camp ground guests.
Check In for the campground is at Kings Canyon Resort reception, 100m south of the campground.

Stayed 3 nights. A little dearer than other parks but is probably to be expected considering the location. We loved our stay and felt safe there. The park was clean and tidy. Plenty of amenities blocks. Possibly a shortage of washers / dryers as there seemed to be a line up each day for them but not sure as used our own. Has all facilities required but phone service was totally lacking (didn't bother us though). Reception staff were great. Bar staff a little hit and miss but mostly very friendly. Did the rim walk and helicopter flight. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Recurver
Not cheap but we had a large, flat site with power and good water. Very clean amenities and lots of them. Great happy hour from 3:00 to 5:00 with very good live musician. Extra happy hour at the resort lookout 5:00 on. Bar & Grill food wasn't as good as it looked but reasonably priced... Quality camp-site and very enjoyable stay. Recommended...
