Due to the fact that the NT National parks booking system is a nightmare on smart phone, I had to email all my details and caravan dimensions and TRUST the person at the other end to book a site for me. WRONG. Not only were we shocked at the first price of $80 for one night on a site that was not big enough for a camper trailer, I then had to pay a further $10 for a BIG site (we have a 19"6 caravan) $90 for a dirt site, power and water. Yes I know it's a remote National park, but geeze guys. Also a hamburger is $26, be prepared

We had a really good time here. Stayed 5 nights in an unpowered, large site under the trees. $295 for 5 nights unpowered, 2A and 2C. Not cheap but we still are happy with our choice. Lots of bathrooms and showers, $4 laundry, free ice cream for the kids 4-5 pm. Great lagoon pool. Highly recommended. Yes we're in the middle of remote Kakadu NP, yes it's a resort with all the trimmings, yes we chose to stay here believing that the NP camps were full & unbookable... but honestly UBER EXPENSIVE - many of the powered sites are small & in inappropriate sites, unpowered sites under shade but much better value :), sunset cruise awesome however!! NB The NP Kakadu Campsites were mostly empty, honestly system - not related to NT booking system lol....couple of options around Cooinda which would be much better..just head in for swim, bar & cruise... Wish we'd known lol ...
