Fantastic location. Beautiful views. Man-made lake - no crocs here. This park is under new management, cabins caravan sites etc. Kayaks to hire to explore the lake.

Where There

First impressions hmmm....BUT don't judge a book by the cover! Yes the sites are a little dated along with toilet/showers but they were clean and hand soap full. A little more TLC is all that is needed and is happening. Function centre/cafe/outdoor deck is awesome. Great pool clean and refreshing with fabulous view of lake. Food was delicious. Lakeview cabins modern and clean. Nice easy walk track along lake. Most of all the staff were simply amazing. A credit to the new manager reception, cleaner and the young crew. They worked hard and made our stay fun and friendly. Genuinely cared about making people's stay nice. Shout out to Odessa, Sam and Joel Good luck and keep smiling! We will be back

Let me give my review from the perspective of a caravaner. Sites are very very dusty. Water pipes are above ground, and being black poly, and absorb the heat delivering extremely hot water to the vans. I ran to tap for about 15 mins to reduce the temp but quickly retur n Ed to very hot. I believe this has potential to cause leaks within the van. After thus, the biggest down fall was to have 4 helicopters land on the dust within 59 metres of our site covering the car and caravan in dust. From a safety point if view, I believe this is is extremely dangerous and from a caravani n g perspective, totally unacceptable. We left. I must say, from our observations, the lake is beautiful, the restaurant looks great and the manager was very accommodating and gave a refund with no fuss.

Lovely resort building with deck and pool overlooking lake. Great place to sit for a meal and/or drink. Staff very friendly. We stayed on a weekend and there was plenty of empty camping sites but the small pool can get very busy. Unfortunately I saw 2 different people put their dog in the pool. While it was brief, it's not on. In fact, at one stage there was about 6 dogs on the deck with a bit of barking going on. Not the dogs fault but rather owners not thinking of others. It would be good if it was non smoking on the deck. Caravan sites are big and mostly dirt and most don't have shade. No portable water. Amenities are basic but are cleaned daily. Can see the park improving as time goes on so do t be too hard on them as it's a work in progress
