Very peaceful, no one else there, flat ground. Pulled in around 5. Enough time to light a fire and enjoy the outback. The sun through trees in the morning was beautiful. Just an overnighter. Turn off just before creek crossing.

Great spot to get off that awful road. We just pulled in for lunch but would be a great overnighter.

We arrived at about 5pm on 24/7/21 and found out from the man grading the road that the ranger had erected no camping signs 3 days ago. We camped anyway as we needed to stop and had no other options. Water is getting stagnant, but still a lovely quiet spot. I guess that the presence of a lot of toilet paper in the bush has spoiled it for others and the Rangers are just trying to look after their park. Take care of these free camping spots, as they say, leave no trace, we did.
