Wow, what a place. Lovely and quiet, fantastic amenities and an owner that genuinely cares and interacts with his guests. Loved hearing the tales of how the retreat became what it is today. Beautiful views from the lookout and right on the river. Will be back for sure

Had a wonderful 6 day stay. The walks around the retreat are beautiful with the view from the mount being spectacular. Pete is a terrific host and is ready to share an informative chat. The wildlife is second to none. Highly recommend.
