Description
This stunning campsite is a lovely fishing spot and a great place to catch barramundi. This is a wonderful location to explore Kakadu's beautiful wetlands while being close to Cooinda - just 6 km away. Ensure you observe all safety signs, and be aware that whenever you are near water in the park, there is a risk of crocs!
This campground offers unpowered bush camping. 4WD is recommended for access and the site is suitable for tents and camper trailers. Facilities include toilets, fire pits and boat ramp.
This site is closed during the wet season.
Pets are not permitted.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me whether this campground would be suitable for/accessible to a 22.5foot off-road caravan? (Description only mentions camper trailers but icons include 'caravan accessible'…?)

We used this camp for 8 days as a centre for exploring Kakadu. $6pp/night. Visited Cooinda across the Highway, for internet access. Free Park Pass extension after 7 days.

Road in a bit corrugated, but doable with 2WD. Pay with cash in box, ranger comes by in the am to collect. Lots of space.
