Description

Strictly NO SWIMMING at Elabana Falls, as contaminants from hikers skin (e.g sunscreen & sweat) are toxic to the endangered frog and crayfish species living in the stream catchment area. Large fines apply if caught by QPAWS. Box Forest Circuit: 10.9kms return, allow 4hrs walking time. This circuit branches from the Border Track (3.2km from the trailhead) and leads directly to Picnic Rock and Elabana Falls. If you intend walking this entire circuit, walk in a clockwise direction due to the gradient and exit via Elabana Falls and Picnic Rock.
