Camping here tonight. Shady camp next to lovely crystal clear creek. Patrol towing a Tvan south to North. Kalkarindji to Timber Creek via Gibbie,Wickham & Humbert tracks. Still to go up the jump up which a local described as 'A big arse hill' adding 'you'll pull that up there though, easy' pointing at the Tvan. Hope he's correct! If not we'll backtrack & go out via Yarralin. Note that location on WikiCamps is correct. Hema maps & Park maps show it further south at Junction of Gibbie & Wickham Tracks. It is on the Wickham track. GPS location is 16°42.503'S, 130°38.990'E It would be unwise to attempt to tow anything longer than a high clearance camper trailer. EDIT: Made it up the jump no problem. If anything going down northern side a bit harder. All enjoyable

Great over night spot - towed an Ultimate Camper down the tracks with no problems (heading south) the Jump up could be tricky heading North but is still doable. Great tracks - great camp.

Heading south to Wave Hill but having got to this site late we decide not to cross as water flow was fast and looked deep. Camped on north side bare patch on your left just before you descend to river bed. Tested depth of river next morning to south side and only a meter a a bit deep, expected to find fire pits etc on south side, no such thing. Simply all the shade is in the river bed once the water has gone. Steep climb out on southern side with sharp left hand turn.
