Who designs these campgrounds??? Sites have massive slopes - useless. Only sites that look useful are 4,7,8 and 10. If you can't get those no point coming.

This is a good spot to camp to catch the Mary River Wetland Cruise, that leaves from RockHole only 5min up the road. Good views of the Mary River from the camp site, a few mozzie there at the moment. The Wildman 4x4 track is a good half day drive leaving from the Rock Hole Road. Some of the track is sandy with some deep wheel rut holes, and be prepaid to get some light pinstripping, the track is tight in places. There are hidden billabongs along the way.

Awesome spot to explore the Mary River region. Campsite excellent, toilets the cleanest and freshest we have come across in a NP. Sites that are best for views are on the same side as camp 7. On the other side the sites are sloping and not all have views. Infact some are difficult. Unfortunately the website does not depict clearly the site and /or view. Great sunset and sunrise and would definitely comeback.
