Great spot by the river, sadly a lot of rubbish left by the indigenous locals who frequent the site mainly on the weekend. We cleaned up the area around us and at a couple of the fishing spots several days in a row after witnessing the culprits leave. I wish there was some way to educate these people to value this spectacular location. Apparently the rubbish is the white mans problem according to a local. Witnessing and hearing the tide rush up the river was a highlight of our stay here. The power of nature is awesome. Plenty of Barra to be seen, unfortunately we don't have the skill to catch them! Salt and fresh water crocodiles spotted along with lots of birds and wildlife. Be careful where you camp as there are lots of prickles and Bees. We would go back.

Stunning location! Loads of salties but fish weren't hungry so no catch for us. Road in was good. Pretty smooth. Loads of bull dust. They're currently mustering so we did get permission to enter and camp. Kunna's locals have a fab spot here!

Robby & Porto Tour Guiding Aussie.

Road in appears to have be recently graded. Solid dirt road with little correction. So many spots to camp. It's a shame the keen fisherman aren't as keen in taking their rubbish home with them. Very pretty along the river edge. Bird life abundant.
