15 km off the road, and thanks to previous post of how to get here.took us 45 min with 20 Ft off road van. On arrival we were reminded about our safety by a 8ft+ crocodile in the billabong and took precautions, a great place to experience the real outback wildernesses. Would return to show others the experience.

I have to say, the reviews are a bit confusing, so I made a little bit of research on google and we found that place quite easily. Coming from Arnhem Hwy, the turn off to the camp-site is at 36km from the information bay. There's a little warning yellow sign right before the turn off, letting us know that it's nearly there, and big red sign at the beggining of the road, although a bit hidden. Keep on going until signs tell you where the camp-sites are. The road there is not too bad, it's a good corrugated road, took us about 30min to get there, a bit bumpy and got narrower toward the end tho, no water. Watch out for wallabies on the way. The camp-site is lovely, not many mozzies, would go back there for sure!

Off road caravan - we are getting no help from info centres and conflicting information from locals. Can we bring an off road caravan in? And if so, is it best to come in from the Kakadu Highway along old Jim Jim Rd or off the Arnhem highway? Please free to message directly on 0405819948 Cheers Mad Keen Fisherman.
