First up in the morning, you're headed for the beautiful West MacDonnell Ranges, which stretch over 600 km east and west of Alice Springs. It's located just outside Alice Springs and is the resting place for the ashes of the founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Next, it's onto the ranges.
