Description

If you are not into large campgrounds this small, peaceful spot is a real treat for a few nights of outback camping. Situated in the Mary River region, the campground is close to several stone country highlights. You're only 15 minutes from the Yurmikmik walks, 45 minutes from Gunlom and about an hour from Jarrangbarnmi. The facilities here are basic, but Kambolgie is open all year round and is only 15 km off the Kakadu Highway. The campsite is suitable for tents and camper trailers. 4WD recommended. Bookings are not taking and the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. No pets.
