Description

The Narromine Aerodrome Tourist Park and Motel looks forward to welcoming the many local, interstate and overseas guests who stay at our park each year. We offer a safe and quiet stay, with clean and comfortable facilities. Our park is strictly for the tourist, contractor or traveller, with no permanent residents. The Narromine Tourist Park and Motel is the quietest accommodation location in town. We are set back off the highway, away from road noise, situated adjoining the Narromine Aerodrome which is only used by light aircraft. Renowned for it's thermal conditions, Narromine is a Mecca for gliders from around the world. In December 2023, Narromine hosted the World Championship Gliding Competition, with 23 countries competing in 3 different categories. Simply walk through our back gate and you are right at the entry to the Narromine Aviation Museum and the Narromine Aero Club next door. Every Friday night the Aero Club is open for dinner and drinks, with visitors welcome. Have a chat with some of the friendly local pilots and aviation enthusiasts, check out the view onto the airstrip and grab some tickets in the weekly meat raffle. It's a fantastic way to experience this little gem of a town, with just a 20 metre walk from your accommodation. Park managers, Dean and Kerry Riley warmly welcome visitors to their fabulous and well equipped camp kitchen, where people come together, often over a social dinner, drink and a bit of live music and karaoke. with respect to all guests, any camp kitchen noise ceases by 9pm at the latest. Come and experience some good old-fashioned hospitality at the Narromine Aerodrome Tourist Park & Motel. We look forward to seeing you.
