Only 1.5 km from the North Bourke pub on the Hungaford Rd , Allambie’s Camp is a safe n privately owned property with well spaced camp spots set up with the idea of having a safe peaceful camp while only minutes from town. Camp spots are on the slight slopped banks of the Big Billabong that runs into the Darling River. Unhook your van and access the river with tracks to beautiful private spots to fish, swim, bbq or just take in the serenity. With plenty of wood around to collect for the arvo fire or to cook a feed of yabbies if your lucky. This paid campground offers swimming, fishing and site seeing. Pets are allowed. It is accessible to four wheel drives. You must be self contained. You must book in advance.
