Description

Nambucca Shire Council permits overnight stays for travellers in vehicles within allocated rest areas in Macksville. 3 spaces are available for recreation vehicles in Ferry Street Lions Park. The area is signposted with directions on where vehicles can park and the conditions of use. Facilities include toilets, picnic tables, playground, rubbish bins and boat ramp. Vehicles shall only occupy parking bays of sufficient size to fully accommodate the vehicle. Vehicles can only park in the allocated areas for a maximum of one night. Camper trailers, tents, annexes, and the like are not permitted to be erected. This location is patrolled by Council Rangers with penalties enforced for noncompliance. Pets must be restrained. Dogs are prohibited within the public reserve.
