We are only 22k's off the bitumen from the Cunnamulla/ Bourke road, and the same from the Hungerford to Bourke road, the road is mostly red soil and a couple of gravel hills. The river/ dam is not suitable for boats and we don't like anyone disturbing the bird life or other guests. Plenty of unpowered caravan sites available on the banks of the beautiful Warrego River $25 per night, 4 powered sites $35 per night.There's plenty of free wood you can collect for a camp fire, yabbies (fresh water cray fish) we just ask that you please burn the shells, so you don't pollute the water or bush and don't be greedy and take more than you can eat, there's fish you can have a go at catching. There's lots of bird life, beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the expanse of water, with an incredible view of the stars at night. We love showing off our piece of paradise to our guests and offer farm tours, when we can fit you in, we are both local to the area and can answer most of your questions about the district, plants, animals and bird life. We also have 4 modern 2 bedroom cabins available and have just finished our community kitchen, with a shower/ toilet. Not recommend for children under 5 years old because of the expanse of water. You can bring your fur babies, we just ask that you keep them on a leash or contained, for their safety and our livestock (we 10/80 bait for wild dogs). NO DOGS ALLOWED IN CABINS or COMMUNITY KITCHEN (due to some guests having allergies & we don't want dog pee on the furniture).
