Description

You are now required to make a booking for all campgrounds and campsites in NSW national parks. This includes locations that were previously available for use without a booking. This is necessary to protect our visitors and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Book online or contact the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. Pitch your tent or pull up your camper at secluded Island Bend campground, near Perisher. Big rigs can access upper camp area. It's a great base for some of the best walks, biking, fishing and kayaking in Kosciuszko National Park. There are campsites 30 unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers and camping beside your vehicle. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecue facilities and toilets. Camping is free but park entry fees are payable. Island Bend campground is open all year, but you can expect low temperatures and snow fall in winter. 4WD required to access lower camp in extreme wet weather. Generators, pets and smoking are not permitted.
