The Gulgong Showground Land Managers welcome campers & have power, water, and Blackwater Dump Point available to all campers. There is room for all sizes of vehicles including Big Rigs. Our camping prices are as follows -Unpowered or Powered sites $25per night, $20pn for 3 nights or more.. Check in instructions are at the entry gate. Payment preferred via bank transfer and details will be provided once you text your arrival. There are toilets and showers Pets are very welcome. But as per NSW State wide laws, you are required to keep your dog ON LEASH at all times when within the showground, this law applies to ALL. The showground is quite large and You are welcome to walk your dog on leash around the lovely grounds. If you and your dog are feeling energetic, the walk up to the township of Gulgong is worthwhile. If your dog needs further exercise including runs off leash with a ball etc, there is an unfenced off leash area available in Gulgong (Peoples Park, Winella St, Gulgong) and a fenced off leash area at Mudgee (Pitt Lane near Netball courts at Glenn Willow, Mudgee) both are only a short drive away. Gulgong showground is a wonderful place to stop to explore the local areas of Gulgong and Mudgee and if you fancy a longer drive there are the nearby towns of Bathurst, Dubbo, Rylestone, Historic Hill End, Hargraves, Sofala, Windeyer and Mendooran and Gilgandra which are both the gateway to the Warrumbungles. Or if you just wish to pull in, park your vehicle, pull out your chair, put up your feet and enjoy the peace and quiet and relaxation, Gulgong Showground is the place to stay.
