Gilgandra Shire Council welcomes travellers to utilise the Gilgandra Cultural Precinct Overnight Parking area during their stay in the Gilgandra Region. The area has 10 parking spaces available for fully self-contained vehicles to park for up to 48 hours. In order to utilise the area, users need to be fully self-contained and book to obtain a permit @ www.gilgandraregion.com.au/directory/overnight-parking Dogs are allowed (with approval) when applying for a permit. (For the safety of our furry friends - please be aware this site is adjacent to the Newell Highway and is not fenced). The Gilgandra Cultural Precinct Overnight Parking area is located between the Gilgandra Museum and the Coo-we Heritage and Visitor Information Centre. We encourage all visitors to wander the galleries and l museums as well as the Windmill Walk to the Gilgandra CBD. Be sure to check out the boutiques of our Main Street and stock up for your onward journey! Please leave no trace!
