WE DO NOT ACCEPT SAME-DAY BOOKINGS! All booking requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance, preferably by email. If you prefer to use a booking agency, you may book through Hipcamp. We are a 55 hectare alpaca & llama stud & sugar cane farm, just off the Pacific Hwy, on Harwood Island, in the Clarence River. Our property is mostly arable or pasture land with some small stands of natural vegetation and water courses. We operate as a cottage industry, processing alpaca fleece & manufacturing products from it. We regularly conduct tours & maintain a small farm shop. Our property will appeal to those seeking a pleasant, tranquil place to camp. The surroundings are farmland, although there are also several areas of outstanding natural beauty in close proximity. IMPORTANT: Our campsite facilities are basic & best suited to self-contained campers. We DO NOT provide toilet or ablution facilities. However, we do have portable toilet & shower units available for hire if you do not have your own. We also offer a range of home-cooked meals.
