Magical place with black throated and double barred finches flitting around. Ah the serenity

A Gypsy and her Kelpie

A magical place to spend the day recharging in nature after the generator city that is manning gorge campground, this is the Kimberly in all her glory Fun 4wd track to get in which is great because no one comes here as a result Spotted a few snakes, a whole family of dingoes, water monitors, freshies, lizards, frogs and so so many birds, absolute bliss here for those that truly appreciate the Kimberly Great swimming holes. Water flow is starting to slow up, no doubt still a beautiful place without water however don't come down expecting a swim as the waterholes will have all but dried up in a few weeks time. Fantastic early dry, just follow the water downstream and you'll find some great spots Thankyou Mt House station for allowing day access

About 10-15 meters of washout 4WD then another 300 meters not too bad. Didn't look inviting enough for us to swim but a cool, secluded place to explore. Unmarked trail, we nosied in about 20 minutes until path became overgrown. A nice off the beaten path spot, but not a must do.
