Heartbreaking history of this site. We were passing through at the end of the day, so we got to see this incredible place at sunset. You couldn't help but just take it in, a very painful time and memory for our First Nations people.

If only they would repair the fence around the Prison Boab. Many disrespectful people still ducking under the fence for a peek into the Boab or a photo in front-seriously!? We pointed out the sign to a mother who decided to go in for a photo in front of her teenage children she ignored that and just insulted us, telling us to stop talking to her. What a great example she is to her kids-proud mother moment. Dad wasn't much better! The bottom of the sign also notes that snakes inhabit the tree maybe these ignorant people who don't read (to the end of) the sign and will get their karma!
