No where to park a van

Like the others said. Not a RV friendly town. Absolutely disgusting. Such a beautiful little place. Wanted to go to sovereign hill but couldn't leave the van anywhere that was safe to do so. TRAVELLERS KEEP GOING PAST BALLARAT and go to Beaufort. RV friendly little town. DONT waste your money on some of these big towns. They obviously don't give a stuff.

Agree with others about lack of parking. ALL parking in the CBD is paid and Council Rangers patrol using number plate recognition. There are only a few spaces behind the Information Centre that are free for 15 mins and these are patrolled as well, the rangers even use these spaces for their own vehicles leaving very few for tourists. There are two spaces for vehicles over 7.5 metres but these get used by inconsiderate locals in cars. Definitely NOT an RV friendly town. Especially if you are towing.
