Description

A great little spot, right on the banks of the MacQuarie River suitable for tent based camping (no caravans or motor homes allowed). The campground is basic. No toilets or shower. Bring drinking water. Last bit to tye campgroung is a slightly bumpy dirt road. Work's for 2WD though. Beautiful stretch of water on the river. There is easy access to the river itself. A great spot for kayak and fishing trips. The trees around the river are full of parrots and kakadus. Beautiful.
