A stunning little bush camp suitable for big rigs or several vans. Nice creek that trickles past the campsite to wonder and explore. Good flow in the winter, not sure how much water would be in it over summer. Had quite a bit of rain overnight and the site was still very accessible. Suitable for 2WD as well. Several other sites a little closer to town, but not as good as this site. Very quiet location with a little bit of wildlife. Highly recommend this campsite for Beechworth area. About 30 minutes into town. Kids 10/5 stars (they're nature kids and loved exploring the creek) Adults 4.5/5 stars (only cause I'm comparing to other sites we've been to on this trip and there are no water or dump point facilities nearby)

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the site to be level, easy to access and easy to get large rigs into. The river was flowing and was a delight to swim in, especially in the man made pool, that was just down from out camp-site. Some previous campers left their rubbish behind ( we took away, what we could) which always disappoints us. As for the wildlife, there is a family of Goannas that do their regular patrol of your site and the thousands of mozzies ( who mainly bite you in the river area and tend to leave you alone up at your site) We had no trouble getting reception, although a bit slow. We will be back.

Really nice spot only complaint is I meet a Possum with a bad attitude. (I may have woke him)? It was very nice for overnight, parks officers stopped in and said hi with a leaflet which was handy.
