Description

Lake Butler was once a natural lake, where fishermen moored their boats in Guichen Bay in the summer and pulled them up over the dunes to moor in Lake Butler during the winter. A channel to the sea was cut in 1964, making Lake Butler available for safe mooring all year round. The Lake Butler Marina comprises of 100 recreational berths and 40 commercial berths. There are toilets at the marina. No camping or overnight parking.
