Description

Start of the Lightning Creek 4X4 track off the Omeo Highway. From here, you can link up the dirt roads and visit Quart Pot Flat Hut along Limestone Gap Track, Wombat PO Hut & link up with the JP Gap track or Four Mile Creek Track to Taylor's Crossing campground along the Mitta Mitta River. Total of 13 crossings with 2 cleared grassy campsites along the track, both of which would have enough room for one car. Creek is crystal clear. Dogs are aloud in state forest, however the Alpine National Park covers a majority of the tracks past the Lightning Creek Track.
