Very helpful ladies, lots of information about the area and other places in SA. Local produces and crafts on sale, as well as a small café. Toilets were clean, no parking for big rigs.

Disappointed with this wine region. Even though the wines were very good most of the wineries we visited charged for tastings ranging from $5 to $20. I do understand the reason behind this but we (9 times out of 10) would buy a bottle of wine or two. The majority of the cellar doors we visited didn't redeem the tasting charge off the wine purchase, or, you had to purchase in excess of quite a few $$ to get tasting fee back. In our case it was no tastings...no purchases and we took our money to wineries that were more accommodating.
