Description
Newland Head Conservation Park is located 91km south of Adelaide. Access is via Waitpinga Road, Victor Harbor.
Waitpinga campground is just a short walk from the beach, where the rolling waves provide ideal conditions for surfing or a spot of fishing. Sheltered from the winds, you can camp among the mallee or open areas protected by shrubs in one of the 15 unpowered sites. Most sites are a short walk to your vehicle. Toilets and a large communal gas barbecue area are provided. Sites are suitable for tents.
Fees apply and you must book in advance.
Collection of firewood within National Parks is prohibited. Dead wood plays a vital role in providing shelter for animals and adding nutrients to the soil.
Dogs are not permitted in this park.

Absolutely stunning part of the world, my favourite place in the world to camp, relax, fish, respect and enjoy this brilliant area...love it here so much!!

Lovely site... clean toilets, lots of space, picnic tables, shelter, not windy! No phone reception, can walk 5min up sand dune for reception if needed though.

Bajdas
Great bush camp with toilet & sheltered BBQ facilities. No mobile connection, so book before. Lots of space amongst the trees/bushes so you could have large or small groups. I camped in my swag & ate in Victor Harbor.
