Tucked behind trees, sheltered from the easterly winds to a certain degree. Old toilet building with new flushing cisterns. Very short walk to the safe swimming beach and 10 mins walk to the jetty. Sites big enough for vans to reverse into. Quiet with reasonable phone reception.

A nice spot, perfect for a van stop but make sure you check out online first, as we set up because it was all empty over Easter only to try and book after and it apparently was all booked, because all the dates were blacked out, so lesson learned there. We also went back for a look 2 days Later and still no one was on the spot so, we assumed someone had booked it but decided not to go, which was a really shame

Nothing wrong with the area. Like most sites telstra/mobile service/wi fi is non existent almost all the time. Most rely on phone/internet these days. Very misleading advertising on Wikipedia camp sites Locals are great. Had a few good arvo at the golf club
