What a view of the Coorong, with pelicans providing entertainment as they fish. Plenty of bird life and a seal frolicking around the jetty. Only 5 sites for camping so make sure you book online before arriving as there is very little internet. Only downside is the toilet could be cleaned more regularly.

We camped at site 3 also. Two families. Managed the brisk wind fine as there are bushes for shelter from the wind that time. Road in was well graded. Beautiful views & wildlife.

We chose site 3 - fairly sheltered, large site facing north with gorgeous views across the water . Lots of bird life especially pelicans and some large seals resting on jetty . One unisex drop toilet but only one other camper so not a problem . With only five sites I imagine it wouldn't get busy . National parks office kindly changed our booking for second night on The Coorong from 42 mile crossing to Long point giving us two very different experiences. Prefer the northern Coorong for camping and we had very pleasant weather .
