Free bush camping sites are available along the riverfront and are under the care of the District Council of Loxton Waikerie. There are no facilities within the park, so you must come fully prepared. Bring your own drinking water. Camp fires are not allowed during fire danger season (1 November 2017 to 15 April 2018). Use designated fire places and bring your own firewood. Collection of firewood within the park is not allowed. Leave your dog at home as they are not allowed in the park. Take your rubbish with you as there are no bins in the park. Although there are many vehicle tracks throughout the park, driving off the main track that follows the river is not permitted. The park is accessible to 2WD vehicles, however some sections of the main track are sandy or can become slippery when wet.

Wow what a position right on the Murray Bird life were plentiful Had the front part all to ourselves Track does go back , however didn't want to take the van down there. Does get boggy in rain. Deff go back

Great spot by the river with some nice walking tracks. Nice bird life around. Tracks in and out are 2wd friendly, except when raining, although there is definitely some 4wd only areas further in, which look like they would be fun in 4wd. Has excellent 4g Telstra service. Only a 5 minute drive to nearby Waikerie if needing supplies. Area has no facilities. Leave no trace. @my_aussie_van_adventure

Effing around Oz

We were locked down here for a week. Great spot. We are well self sufficient but it's only a few kms from Waikerie if you need to provision or empty out. 2wd is fine, especially if you enter from the eastern side of the reserve. Much better for a few days than Holder Reserve. Bring your own firewood.
