Great spot for an overnight stay. We arrived just after dark, which I wouldn't recommend as there was no lighting in the camping area making it a bit tricky to find a spot in the unpowered section. We enjoyed a quick dinner and beer in the pub, and a chance to play the pianola in the dining room. The meals were simple, but OK for the price, e.g. my partner's chicken parma was a bit overcooked, and they had no vegetarian options on the menu, so I ended up with chips and roast veg. We spent $55 on the meals + 2 pints of beer to get "free camping." We would have stayed longer in the cosy bar area if we weren't travelling with dogs. The town itself is quite charming with many old stone buildings and the bakery is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at the rear of Bon Accord Hotel last night and had dinner. We met the Tim and had the best night. Best bangers and mash ever. Would love to come back in the future.

Spent the night here in the rain. Cold beer, good showers. Meal just okay. Reminds me of an old English pubSpud's Roadhouse (172km N of Port Augusta)
