The best site! Open, uninterrupted views of the river. Plenty of room.

This is a great spot - easy access, we have a 23.5 foot van, and we set up (level) just 2 metres from the riverfront. There is an easy access point to the river, perfect for a tinny or kayak, to fish from, or for pups to wet their feet. It was beautifully quiet, next to no speed boats on the river, and the sunrises were absolutely stunning. The only thing I would comment on, being so close to the water, there were some mosquitoes around, so bring repellent to keep yourself and pets protected and keep the screen door of your van closed. Sadly our stay was cut short, we had just two days then the SA lockdown came into affect and we opted to come back home but we will definitely come back soon.

Seriously awesome spot! So peaceful and relaxing. Great big space, really easy access for vans and hardly any river traffic! Loads of wildlife around us been fascinating watching it.
