What a great spot? Need I say more? Not busy, easy power and water, no overnight but honestly didn't look like a bad stop for a night. Overlooking the water and barely any people in the massive carpark. The power and water is in risers similar to a paid caravan park and available to the public - why are there not more of these?

Can confirm, free water and power available here in gorgeous park surrounds near the marina. We'd happily spend the day here regardless of power and water just to picnic and relax by the river, it's a spectacular spot. Heaps of parking for big and small rugs and lots of grass areas for kids/dogs to play. As mentioned below the setup is a bit like a van park with power and water stations together, also a toilet block in the area. Information Centre just a few hundred meters away. Thanks Gladstone we are very grateful for this service whilst we waited for some tyre repairs and did some shopping. Just has a bit of a wander around and found some great kids playgrounds, multiple bbq areas and cafes nearby. Also a lovely walk along the river with spectacular views.
