Kakadu is very underwhelming; An outrageous entrance fee and if you don't have a high clearance four wheel drive many sights are not available unless you can afford numerous guided tours. Rock art sights are an exception, they are some of the best that I have seen. Yellow Waters tour is worth doing especially if you have Mandy, the indigenous boat driver. She is a wealth of knowledge. The park should be handed back to the NT government and removed from Canberra's hands. Contrast this with Litchfield which is magnificent.

Kakadu or kakadont - I say Kakadu! A lot of mixed reviews so we were hesitant to go also considering the $80 park pass you need however so glad we did! We were also lucky that most things had also re-opened. We booked as many of the local guided ranger tours as we could which really made the trip for us. A very scenic mix in Kakadu from wetlands, woodlands and monsoon forests, plus animal life. Many great rock art sites (Ubirr, Burrungkuy & Nanguluwur) and Jim Jim Falls was great.

Definitely Kakadon't. Absolute ripoff of $40 per person to enter the National Park and then not be able to access some of the best attractions ie Gunlom, and Twin Falls. The road into Jim Jim Falls is so disgusting, we turned around after 13ks, so another attraction you can't access unless you want rattle your expensive vehicle to death. And we have a high clearance 4wd, but still not worth it. Disappointing
