Farmers Arms Tavern is 14 km North of Toowoomba on the New England Highway at Cabarlah. We are the Oldest Licenced Pub in Queensland having held the longest continuous liquor license since 1863. We are a popular spot for bus tours and travellers alike who stop for some good pub food and icy cold drinks. We have a large country style restaurant that seats up to 120 people. The original Cabarlah jail situated at the NW end is a popular spot for photos as well as the old cottage that was once the town's police station is now used for accommodation. POINTS OF INTEREST The cuckoo clock manor is only 300 metres from us the Pioneer Village is 2 km chocolate cottage perseverance dam national park maiden well cooby dam We don't charge for staying on site for those self sufficient only ask to come and have a good pub meal with us at the tavern. We have the show grounds directly behind us that has shower and toilet facilities for a small fee for those the don't have wc facilities. Highway pub with easy access for large oversized viecles. Large group bookings we have discounts for pre paid events. Cabarlah country markets are on the last Sunday of each month. There is ample parking and area for large groups motor homes buses and festivals. We welcome and can accomodate trucks, motor homes, tents and vans. Access to bins bathrooms during opening hours. Dog friendly bring own pooper scooper. Tables in the licensed area . Closed Monday & Tuesday.
