It's brilliant if you enjoy seeing wildlife up close. For best viewing you need to be there when the fishing charter boat returns and the blokes are cleaning their catch and throwing off cuts into the water for the seals and stingrays. No pelicans when I was there but a flock of Great Cormorants where there feeding also. Water was crystal clear.

We went to the boat ramp at lunchtime in hope of seeing some wildlife. The fishermen were there filleting their catches and throwing out the leftovers. There were 2 seals, a couple of stingrays and pelicans. The water was crystal clear and the animals were about 1m away. Big carpark, playground and boardwalk there too. It was excellent
