The city archives are held in the library and are really worth a visit, photos, letters, newspapers, diaries give a fascinating insight into Broken Hill's history and its heritage listed status. Shame it didn't have its own building.

Went to kids school holiday activities at the library, really well run and resourced, great kids section in the library, well worth a visit
