Interesting story and worth a look but not well maintained

Worth a look, great lookout from the car park at the top, cave & chapel are on the side of the hill, can be steep in places so wear good shoes. Check out our YouTube video on the area which includes Hermits Cave - J & K Aussie Travel

Definitely worth the look - Hermits cave and trail walk but don't take food with you. Sadly rubbish left on trail. Valerio Ricetti chose a great place with views and built himself a great hideaway. Interesting story about him and why he chose to hide away. Only go on walk if dry as there is rocks to climb over.
