Description

TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 Maitland Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is open seven days a week from 10.00am to 3.00pm (closed Christmas Day and Good Friday). Visit the Maitland VIC and a friendly local can assist you with directions, accommodation, purchasing tickets to community events and supply you with a large range of information on local attractions, events and localities. The VIC also holds visitor guides for the wider Hunter Region and other NSW destinations. Browse the local products for sale including Maitland memorabilia and publications, unique artworks, handmade crafts and regional produce. Some of the products you will find are from local suppliers including Bare Natures Kin soaps, Mirannie Honey, Pukara Estate, Concrete and Leaf, Florrie & me, Daughter of the King, The Little Red and pieces by Aboriginal artist Kerryann Rostron. Located at Maitland VIC is the Central Park Café (8.30am to 3.00pm weekdays and 8.00am to 3.00pm weekends), picnic area in Ministers Park, toilets (disabled and baby change facilities) parking (disabled and long vehicle bays) as well as an RV dump point.
