Facilities fairly average. Lock on my toilet didn't work. Toilets smell Space for caravans & trucks to park. Picnic tables were adequate. No merging lane back onto highway(110km/hr)

Great to have these rest areas, BUT, not much thought or designed by someone who doesn't travel or tow a caravan. Only 3 spots for vans to pull up in the van designated area. Parking for cars is not near the loos & quite a distance if you have mobility issues. 3 tables, why not a couple in the truck parking area? After all truckies have to eat as well. Also why not a table on the side where the caravans Park. Surely someone in RMS could put these ideas into future designs of rest Areas. We are constantly reminded to Rest & Revive Truckies have to mandatory stop, & vans shouldn't park in the truck area, so please make these rest areas Traveller friendly for everyone. Thank you cleaners for the regular clean, shame on people who have no respect, & leave loos in mess.
