Didn't stay overnight HERE this time, although it's obvious the bushfires came within 300 metres of this rest area with 100's of trees (& several homes burnt to the ground during the New Years Eve fire). incl. 3 belonging to local firemen I met personally. So heart wrenching to hear their stories. I met & SO many brave & wonderful locals during the first 2 weeks of March (2020).

Not much room to turn around back onto the highway with a bigger van.
