We stayed behind the RSL in town, unhitched and came out here for a drive. What a lovely lake for a picnic, walk or cuppa. I'm sure the locals wouldn't want it turned in to a caravan park.

Just rang the council this is still closed for Camping but the old resivior is OK to camp road out is OK

We are out at the resovior. Camping free. Listening to the beautiful birds. Reading these posts from people who say they will give cobar a miss cause they can't camp here for free what a joke. There are about 4 free camping areas in Cobar. Just not this one. Look further.
