There are a number of areas for fishing around Forbes - best spots include Fitzgerald's Bridge, Jemalong Weir, Cottons Weir, Lake Forbes - a natural lagoon, Lake Forbes Aquatic Centre, Bundaburrah Creek, Fishing licenses are required.
Bundaburrah Aquatic Centre fishing and boat ramp area/unofficial overnight:
Very big area, Must be self sufficient with own toilet/portaloo, Quiet from Hwy noise, Lots of small shelters, ideal for tents under cover.

What a great spot this is. Toilets and showers are locked. Lots of little shelter sheds. Those who don't meet standards for Wheogo Park IE tents, should come here. Only 15ks from town. Heaps of water in the Bundaburra Creek. What a great little find Approx 15 km south of Forbes Looks like was used for waterskiing Plenty of shade and flat areas Info board as you come in says toilets but they are locked all good for self contained
